What is the History of the Acura NSX?

The Early Years
The Acura NSX first hit the scene in 1991 and was instantly admired for its speed and style. The aluminum construction and the Honda VTEC technology made this vehicle a demanding sensation on the road, giving it the ability to zip in and out of traffic as necessary.
- In 1995, the Acura NSX gave up its hard top style and opted for a targa top removable roof panel, giving this vehicle even more of a performance vehicle-type style
- In 2002, this vehicle opted for HID headlights, helping drivers experience more visibility when on the road

Later Models
The next generation of the Acura NSX started in 2006, and this model delivered so much power that the engine type and dedication to performance are still found on today’s model.
- The 2017 Acura NSX comes with a Sport Hybrid Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system that delivers 573 hp through a twin turbo gasoline engine and two electric motors
- A 9-speed dual clutch transmission offers an exciting appeal to the Hunterdon roads
