What is "CERTIFIED"?

Certified Pre-Owned has become quite an aphorism in the used car market these days. Many dealers and liquidation centers loosely refer to their pre-owned inventory as "Certified" without hesitation. But what does it mean to really be "Certified"?

The answer may depend on who you ask, but this is our stance on that topic:

Hand select only the very best: Anything less than stellar condition does not make the cut. It is our proven method to keep only the finest vehicles and let liquidation centers, dealers and auctions sell the rest.

Highest standards of inspection: Just because a pre-owned vehicle looks good, it does not necessarily mean it is a "cream puff". We follow up the first step with Acura's 150 point checklist, which the vehicle must not only meet but exceed.
